Our 31st Season!
Big Sky / Moonlight Basin Ski Combo Montana / Jan. 18-25, 2009

As they say, “Montana is not just a state, but a state of mind.” If that state of mind has you dreaming of a ski trip that is wide-open and glistening under the bluest of blue skies, this is the trip for you! Blessed with incredible beauty and surrounded by vast regions of unspoiled wild lands, Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin make up the largest interconnected network of trails in America. This is a big mountain with lots of areas to explore and, although only an hour’s drive from Bozeman, the lifts are seldom crowded. The terrain is varied and, with 235 runs, gives the opportunity for unlimited skiing possibilities. Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin offer something for everyone and plenty of it—a winning combination and an experience you’ll savor for years!
To maximize your skiing experience, this trip will include a resort orientation during the Big Sky Welcome Reception, plus a guided ski day with slopeside lunch at each of the resorts. In addition, with the Lone Peak Pass you’ll have total flexibility to ski when and where you desire during the week.
You will receive a genuine Montana welcome at our lodging for the week, the Summit Lodge. This slopeside hotel has a chateau-style construction, which adds an elegant European flair to the resort’s traditional Western ambience. The amenities include an on-site restaurant and lounge, fitness center, underground parking garage, a large spa pool and an indoor/outdoor soaking pool.
Mid-week, we’ll have a special dinner at the famous Bucks T4, recognized as one of the finest restaurants in Montana. The executive chef at Bucks T4 has focused on wild game and continental cuisine, creating a unique combination of traditional local ingredients and classic culinary techniques.
Another culinary highlight for this trip will be our farewell dinner – a delicious, three-course meal in a warm and cozy, candlelit yurt. The evening will begin at our hotel where you will board an enclosed and heated passenger snowcat for a picturesque ride to the yurt’s private, backcountry location. Combined with extraordinary stargazing and leisure time for socializing around a roaring bonfire, this meal is sure to be a memorable experience and the perfect way to end the perfect ski vacation.
