Deposit Policies
Deposits must be paid at the time you submit your Trip Application in order to
hold space on your chosen trip(s). Trip Applications can be completed and
Deposits can be paid on our secure web site, www.othgi.com. Trip Applications
and Deposits can also be sent by fax or mail. If you choose to send your
application by mail along with a check for the deposit, fax your completed
application along with credit card details to hold space on the trip. We will
hold your space on the trip(s) for up to 10 days while we wait to receive your
check. If we do not receive the check within that 10-day period, your space will
be cancelled, unless you have contacted us to authorize a charge to the credit
card instead.
- Those who took one or more trips in our 2005 through 2007 seasons will be able
to sign up for trips during the special advance booking window for Frequent
Travelers beginning at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time on Monday, July 9, 2007.
- Bookings open for all other members at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time on Monday, July
16, 2007.
- A waiver is available for members who are always on the road (or so it seems!)
Members can mail or fax their registration information and deposit payments
prior to the booking dates and they will be marked as of 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time
on either July 9 or July 16 (based on Frequent Traveler status).
Cancellation Penalties
Due to penalties imposed by our hotels and suppliers, we must strictly adhere to
our cancellation fee schedule. Please note all cancellation fees are per person
and are based on the date written requests are received in OTHGI offices.

Please notify us in writing as soon as possible if you must cancel. Lodging and
other reservation penalties are substantial, so we cannot make exceptions to the
cancellation penalties for any reason, including, but not limited to, weather,
illness, or injury. We are unable to make partial refunds for arriving late or
leaving a trip early for any reason, or for any unused portion of the trip.
Other Details
- OTHGI trips are for members only, with the following exceptions. If there is
space available after members have signed up, we encourage adult guests who are
not eligible to be OTHGI members and are traveling with a member to join the
trip. For family trips, only one person in the party needs to be an OTHGI
member.
- Over the Hill Gang, International does not own or operate any of the suppliers
of services or accommodations for our trips. As a result, OTHGI is not
responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such
supplier or of any third party over whom Over the Hill Gang, International has
no control.
- OTHGI, its agents, servants, and employees shall not be responsible for any
injuries or property damage, loss or delay or change of itinerary incurred by
any person or tour participant arising out of the act of negligence of any
direct or supplemental air carrier, hotel or other person rendering any of these
services or accommodations being offered in these tours. Nor shall OTHGI be
responsible for any injuries, death, damage, or loss or delay in any means of
transportation
or reasons of any event beyond the actual control of OTHGI, any agent, or any
supplier or due to force majeure.
- All prices are per person based on double occupancy. Prices for foreign trips
are based on exchange rates as of June 1, 2007. If there are severe fluctuations
in exchange rates, it may be necessary to adjust prices.
- The right is reserved to decline or retain any person as a member of a trip,
or to cancel a trip. In the unlikely event that a trip is canceled, all monies
will be refunded. OTHGI reserves the right to make changes in itineraries due to
unforeseen events. All efforts will be made to keep the same usual high quality
of lodging and to keep the schedule changes minimal. OTHGI cannot be held
responsible for any personal expenses (such as airline tickets or hotel rooms)
due to changes in itineraries or trip cancellations.
- The nature of skiing, or other outdoor sports, involves risks and
unpredictable weather. For these reasons, OTHGI cannot assure exact times at any
point of an itinerary. OTHGI does not purport to guarantee weather conditions at
any resort at any time nor will any refund be made should the passenger cancel
the trip with OTHGI due to lack of snow or other weather conditions.
Cancellation charges will apply as noted above.
- Skiing and other outdoor activities are, to varying degrees, hazardous. Those
participating in OTHGI trips voluntarily assume the risks involved. By assuming
all risks involved, participants agree not to hold the Over the Hill Gang,
International, its officers, Board members, employees, agents, or members liable
for any accident that may occur in conjunction with an Over the Hill Gang,
International trip.
- Due to the inherent risks involved in skiing, snowboarding and bicycling,
OTHGI requires that helmets are worn on any OTHGI-sponsored activity or trip.
Helmets are not required if you are using OTHGI discounts and participating in
the activity on your own.
- OTHGI is a Colorado company and all sales of services shall be deemed to take
place in Colorado.
- The information and prices in this catalog are as accurate as possible at
press time and are subject to change without notice. Over the Hill Gang,
International, its officers, employees, and Board of Directors shall not be
responsible for any liability arising from errors or omissions in this catalog.
